Editing a Call Disposition in the Dialer

Admins can update the disposition of any agent's call to correct errors, unblock incorrectly-DNC'd numbers, or re-enter cleared SEP codes.

📌 Looking for the standard agent flow? See Editing a Call Disposition (Agent & Admin). This article focuses on admin-only scenarios.

Steps to Edit a Call Disposition

  1. Log In to the Dialer using your admin credentials.

  2. Go to Call Logs
From the navigation menu, click CallsCall Logs.

  3. Search by Date
Select the date the call occurred.

📌 If you're unsure, choose All Calls to view the full list.

  4. Filter by Caller Number
In the filters panel, go to "Lead Number" and enter the caller's number.

  5. Open Call Details
Locate the call in the results list, then click the info icon (ℹ️) on the far right.

  6. Edit the Disposition
In the top-right corner of the details page, click Edit.

    • Select the correct disposition from the dropdown.

    • Update any additional details if needed.

  7. Save Changes
Click Save to confirm your updates.

SEP Codes Have Cleared / Reset

If you see a sale call with a blank SEP:

  1. Open the call's info panel.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Re-enter the correct SEP code.

  4. Save.

If the SEP keeps clearing on repeated save attempts, contact support — we can edit the call log directly.

Unblocking a Number That Was Wrongly DNC'd

When an agent accidentally dispositions a call as DNC, the number is added to your DNC list and blocked from future contact. Simply re-editing the disposition to "Callback" or another result does not remove the block.

📌 See How to Unblock Leads for the standard unblock flow.

📌 Keeping dispositions up to date ensures accurate reporting and supports stronger follow-up strategies.
