Updated over 6 months ago

Instructions for Microsoft Edge

1. Open Edge and enter edge://flags in the address bar.

2. Use the search bar to find:

“Allow WebRTC to adjust the input volume”.

3. If available, set the flag to Disabled.

4. Restart Edge to apply the change.

5. Test your microphone in the Dialer.

Instructions for Google Chrome

1. Open Chrome and enter chrome://flags in the address bar.

2. Search for:

“Allow WebRTC to adjust the input volume”.

3. Set the flag to Disabled.

4. Restart Chrome and test your microphone.

Disabling this setting should prevent the browser from automatically adjusting your microphone input volume.

📌 If the flag is not available in your browser version, ensure your browser is up to date or manage microphone input manually via OS sound settings.
